Freelance Writing Online

Freelance writing online is a lucrative and rewarding career path. Some freelancers eventually learn to make as much as $50 per hour writing content for websites, brochures, and other sources.
More often than not, freelance writing online will mean that you’re writing content for websites in a particular niche. This is a very easy job, and not nearly as hard as you might think. With the help of Wikipedia and Google, you have all of the research you need right at your figertips, and it’s just your ability to fill in the word to have it make sense.
Freelance writing online requires that you have an elementary understanding of how grammar works, but since it is more important to be conversational than explicitly correct, this can be worked around. Simply by being in an English speaking country, you have a decided advantage over foreigners. If you write how you speak, then you should have no problems with anyone correcting your grammar.

I would have to strongly disagree with that last point. Knowing how to talk and how to write are two completely different things. It’s annoying how many people think their grammar is perfect because they know how to talk.
I remember a woman coming into the newspaper where I worked, wanting to apply to be an editor. She had no college education and had never studied grammar, but she “knew how things should sound.” That sounded great to all of us. We had all put in four years of study to do the job, but she thought she could come in off the street and do it just because she understood English. It wasn’t the case then and it’s not the case now.
