Make Your Articles Worthwhile!
April 28, 2009
Whenever you’re writing articles for other people, you need to make sure that they are very interesting and engaging right from the start. Articles that beat around the bush, or open with a lot of irrelevant information are not going to be very useful to your buyer, and as such, not very useful for you either.
Most readers will speed read your document anyways. Therefore, you need to give them something that engages their interest right from the get-go, and makes them slow down and consider. Questions are great ways to get the reader interested and thinking about what you’re writing.
You should also have a captivating title. One which reveals what you’re going to talk about, yet makes it unclear what your stance or your original information is. Again, since readers are more than likely going to skim or read quickly, you want them to have to think. This will slow them down and make them more involved in the writing. This thinking and figuring process is essential.
